Plastic and rubber compounds we mould

A practical starting list of plastic and rubber compounds used at Ishaan Industries — PP, HDPE, ABS, Nylon, EPDM, silicone and others. Final spec is confirmed at RFQ.

A starting list, not a locked spec

The compounds below are the plastics and rubbers we regularly mould. Exact grade, colour, fillers and food/automotive approvals are confirmed against your drawing or sample — we do not publish unverified data sheets on this site.

Plastics

PP is light and chemically resistant, useful for covers and housings. HDPE and LDPE suit caps and flexible covers. ABS gives a rigid, cosmetic surface for knobs and housings. Nylon is chosen for handles and wear. PC where impact or heat matters. POM where low friction and dimensional stability matter. PVC is used for durable, weather-exposed parts. Injection moulding is the process for these.

Rubbers

Natural rubber for elasticity in mounts, pads and bushes. EPDM for outdoor seals and ozone resistance. Silicone for temperature range and gaskets. Neoprene for oil- and weather-resistant pads. Nitrile where oil and fuel resistance is the point. Compression and injection rubber moulding are both used, depending on the part.

How we choose

If you already specify a compound, we mould to that. If you only have a duty (load, temperature, outdoor, sealing), our engineering review will recommend a starting compound. Material is always confirmed before tooling is cut.

Specifications on this site describe general capability. Your part is confirmed against a drawing or sample. Request a Quote or read the FAQ.
